Guy who did the 1am Update during boxing started by rather pointedly exclaiming (paraphrasing), "Geez, I'm still here," as though he didn't quite believe it.
2am SportsCentre kicked off in similar fashion with the two anchors (sorry, don't know their names) looking over their shoulders at desks and computer screens devoid of live bodies. This time, it was, "Y'know, last night we had 400 people back there and tonight, we've got, what, three working with us."
Sounded like a whack of folks were MIA. More CTV cuts?
