Wow yeah! Alan Cross' Ongoing History of New Music is an incredible source of information served up in delicious little bite-sized chunks! I remember working in a sign shop back when he launched that series and we would stop work to listen to Alan regale us with tales of the Ramones or of CBGB or maybe Oingo Boingo. I did meet Alan for a project a long time ago (that never did work out) and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, so I love to see his efforts rewarded and to see this valuable resource shared with a much larger audience.
