Perhaps, for perspective's sake, it might also pay to realize that even the "good old days of radio" (or significant aspect thereof) might not cut the mustard with today's audiences. Like, listening to old airchecks and hearing how what once sounded so grand, now--with 2009 ears--sounds so transparently meagre...
