I enjoy reading people's posts on this forum, but I am rather shocked by the apparent abject hatred of all things CFRB. Shocked enough to decide to start posting!
Personally, I like the new line-up quite a bit. As opposed to the one-sided (left or right) US talk show lineups that are a staple of the genre, we've got Moore (left), Carroll (right), and Tory and Richards (slightly right but essentially centrists). And, they are all extremely talented and in my opinion enjoyable to listen to. I am terribly torn, because I want Tory to be mayor, but I also love the idea of him being on from 4-7 every day.
If only we could get rid of the commercials (like with a DVR for TV), it would be perfect! Personally, I'd pay a nice monthly fee to hear the new lineup with minimal interruption on satellite radio. But I know, I'm one of the few. Maybe at least they could start providing podcasts (Prime Time Sports on the FAN gives the 5-7 hours commercial free on podcast, and I listen daily).
