Just make sure you get the Frightenstein DVDs from "Critical Mass". They bought the rights to the series a few years ago and are releasing them as they can get the funds together to license the music on the Woilfman segments. Unfortunately, thanks to Michael Jackson's publishing company, the theme music (from Sly and the family stone) is unaffordable and since it plays under Billy Van's voice, these segments had to be redone with the aid of some clever music and a very good imitator. But otherwise, the shows available are complete and unedited. There are some bargain-bin versions of Frightenstein out there that are 30 minute shows with a laugh track and no music -- ghastly!

(I am in no way connected with any of this -- I'm just a fan of what some pretty cool work done at CHCH in 1970)
And by the way, a really good reference to find out what has been, and will be released in terms of TV shows on DVD can be found at -- get ready for this -- http://www.tvshowsondvd.com
