Since the early 70's the person really running SPECS is Dick Kernan...He was my PD at WRIF in Detroit leaving the station when ABC (owner at the time) formated their FMs...He's responsible for the broadening of their scope...When I was with WDET Detroit Public Radio Dick was a regular contributor to our fundraisers and loved the freeform format we had at the time...He's been a supporter of great radio and TV for many years and deserves the credit for SPECS continued success...Check SPECS page on facebook...
