Yeah, I believe for AM radio there is splatter of +/- 15-25 kHz, although I find it is less so at night. I easily get AM 980 London from 960 right up to 1000 kHz, although at night I get something else on 1000, and it's not CFRB splatter.
FM also does the same thing, about +/- 0.3 MHz, although if you're close enough to the transmitter it can be a LOT more - I live very close to high-powered FM transmitters and I've seen splatter as high as +/- 4 MHz.
