I can't think of an OTA who isn't streaming PPM dah-tah over their internet stream. The real issue is the mp3 encoding and making sure the data comes out the other end at the computer speakers.
Whether someone is listening via a continental transmitter or a Dell the units don't know the difference, nor care. Definitely with AM and office tuning, any OTA who don't encode their off-air stream and ensure data integrity are taking a stupid chance.
Especially with such low sample rates, even based on a needle in a haystack math formula, if you get that one person listening via the net with a unit on their belt, you just paid for your entire encoding process
