Go to southernmedia-nmsa.com - they have a huge database of newscast theme music used throughout the United States over the years, including WPVI's Action News theme which at one time was used by many other stations.
There's a few Canadian stations listed too, in cases where they used a theme also used in the U.S. Some of the more notable ones include Pride Inside, which was used by CHCH in the late 80s/early 90s, and the Tar Sequence from Cool Hand Luke, which was used on CFCF in Montreal as well as numerous ABC O&Os in the 70s.
