G.G., you're not far off, I don't think - John Moore had mentioned on-air once that Korman is a savvy pitchman/negotiator, so that while his mentioning St. Maarten or a specific travel agency might play like "A glimpse into Saul's life" and an offhand reference to the specfic company names, he's actually negotiated serious discounts or even free services in exchange for the mentions - so his vacations end up costing him much less than they might an ordinary Joe.
