Uhh, Jim was firmly in control of CHUM by the time the whole Team debacle came along.
Mr. Waters, unfortunately, was not the man he once was, mentally or physically.
The last time I saw him alive and talked extensively with him and his wife was at the opening of the CHUM Market Mall complex in Ottawa.
You had to be there at the time to understand what was going on and who the prime instigators of that disaster were and how things played out.
There are several people who pushed and pushed for the move to all sports and all have since paid the price for their poorly researched moves.
I won't go into detail because most of these failed "broadcasters" still are around and might attempt to sue.
But remember: "Truth is the ultimate defense."
