I'm no fan of Carrol, but I'm having trouble finding evidence of Moore bringing in the ratings based on this overview. CFRB is flat or a little down overall from Septemeber to October. I'd wager the morning numbers improved, but there's no evidence here. Anyone have more specific numbers?

I'm almost certain the next PPM results won't be released until the first or second week of December. That's normally when the complete Fall book is released.

I see that CP24 Radio 1050 is doing even worse than when it was 1050 CHUM if that is possible. It looks like the number is so small it doesn't even register. Time to start the countdown to the return of 1050 CHUM.

At this point, they're more likely cueing to turn off the transmitter than to bring back 1050 CHUM, so the zilch ratings don't matter in the final equation...

According to the BBM site the PPM's will be out on December 10th covering August-November. The Fall diary will be out December 10th as well but will only cover September , October.

Back on October 9th after the release of the first PPM's Bob Laine wrote here "1050 received a 0.0 because it has decided not to emit the PPM tone. No tone...no numbers!" So, my question is where does the 0.1 women 25-54 come from?????

Well, ultimately it's probably a matter of avoiding having to turn off the transmitter...so consider it a momentary case of "frequency banking". Really, we shouldn't be considering 1050 in terms of an "active" radio station any deeper than that, BBMs or no BBMs...
