Astral in December 2011 applied for 96.7 as a repeater for CFRB. They proposed that Humber College move to 102.7 MHz. but the CRTC threw out Astral's application - on the basis that Humber had never applied for the 102.7 frequency, nor produced a letter agreeing to the frequency change. CJVF-FM, 105.7 Scarborough actually applied for 102.7, but the application was apparently handled by Frank Rogers, (a name familiar to Big Yellow Board Readers). At the end of July, the CRTC threw out the CJVF-FM application. This letter from the CRTC explains why their application was "closed". |
