TubiTV Greenlights First Original Drama Series For Free Streamer

It used to be these free streaming services just offered older movies and ancient TV series. But now they're slowly branching out to include original live action series not available anywhere else. And unlike Netflix, Crave or Disney+, you won't have to pay a cent to watch the show.

And this one features a well known star - Lauren Graham, formerly of "Parenthood" and "The Gilmore Girls." It's called the "Z Suite" and it's a show about the differences between two generations.

According to Deadline, it's:

"..set at a boutique New York ad agency where generational divides see the established C-Suite and rising Gen Z employees collide. After a company decision spirals out of control, the agency’s reigning executives are pushed out and the Z-Suite employees are suddenly put in charge, ultimately testing both generations’ skills and patience.

Graham plays Monica Frazier, an advertising agency mogul who is fired as CEO and finds herself clawing her way back into the company she helped build."

No word yet on when it will be ready for debut or whether it will all be available at once or scheduled at a specific time, like network TV does. But it's a sign that these places once reserved for reruns are ready to compete way beyond their original purpose.
