There are all sorts of situations, for all kinds of borrowers, and we're not there to judge the merits of the loan or its terms. We are an INDEPENDENT, IMPARTIAL officer of the state there to verify IDs and ensure docs are signed correctly and in the right places. We don't work "for" any company and are not iin "collusion" with them. You may see a loan that has terms that you feel are excessive or otherwise inappropriate, but you have no idea about the borrower's background or what generated those numbers; maybe that's the best they could qualify for. In any event, it's NONE of our business. Do your job and leave.
