As a Title company I find it hard to believe that they are the ones telling the customer not to pay anymore payments. We don't have any contact until we are setting the appointment. That being said you have some affiliated business arragements that will have there co-company call to help secure the deal and in a case such as what is being mentioned here do the following. Close the laon as that is what your being paid to do. notify the state of what it is the customer told you. Let the state do the investigation as to if they are a good company or not. You generaly dont have to give your name.
