
Posted by Joan/CA Also, I am WAY UNDERPAID. If they say $70.00 I say OK. Then the borrower looks at the HUD and says you're getting paid $150.00, I say NO. You missed your calling with story telling and writing. Please inform some of us signers that are only a year out, what we can do to get the money that we should be making? Thanks for posting this story. It was enlightening.

WOW! Thank you so much for your long story. You are my new hero. Besides the problems with American Title, I can't believe how many signings you book in a day. Do you ever sleep or eat? You must be thin as a rail. A signing generally takes me an hour to and hour and a half. By the time I fill out all loose certificates (because notarial wording is never correct) and list each notarized document in my journal, it's very time consuming. How do you do it? Travel time in between and having to fax back certain pages before you ship. I find myself running back to my office before I can go to next signing and reviewing docs for the third time. I'm evidently doing something wrong.
