HP's are nice printers however, their ink is very expensive. Just some advise, when you are looking for a new printer, check the prices on the ink/toner for it. I ended up buying a Brother MFC that prints great and the tonner is not expensive. As for the two trays, they do come in handy if that is your only printer otherwise, you have to keep changing the paper out from letter to legal. After buying a new printer, they come with software and most have fax software or your computer operating system should have it and as long as you have a phone line hooked up to your computer, you should be able to fax from it. Do you have a scanner?
