Posted by Tom Coforio From 1997 to April 2002, it was a learning curve for me also with respect to signing particulars and fees acceptance. However a complete review of hundreds of signings over that period cause me to consider my worth with respect to the time consuming aspects of signings, from the initial request to the final payments for my services. I found out that I was selling myself short and I could no longer carry someone else monkey. The latter being the problem that signing agencies claim that they are receiving less money and therefore could not pay me more. Well, that is their problem and they need to speak up or decline. As for me, I decline assignments with low fees. I am not that hungry that I will sell myself short as well as the other signing agents out there. By taking in low fee assignment the competetion (other signing agents) is doing a disservice to the signing profession which has envoled over the past eight years. Happy Signing.
