I had family members that had that concern, your signings are from title companies. So the people you are visiting in their homes are legit. 99% of the time, they will be getting cash out. It's makes no sense to jeopardize that. In my experience they are usually a couple. If you are doing a signing for a male only. If you are uncomfortable and it is at night. Feel free to take an escort. If the client is who they say they are, they will appreciate your being safe. Always I.D. as soon as you sit at the table.
