: Volunteers are needed to help care for 46
: neglected Arabian and American Saddle Horses
: in Newfield, just off of Rt. 40. (I live in
: Washington Twp., it's a 15 minute drive -
: not that far). When this story first
: appeared in the Courier-Post and on local TV
: news, the response was wonderful. But alas,
: it's not the story of the day anymore.
: Nonetheless, money and help and hay are
: still needed. The custodians are worn down
: with the chores, and volunteers are at an
: all-time low: 1, maybe 2 a day. They need
: about 8 volunteers a day to clean stalls,
: water, groom and otherwise care for these
: horses. Please call Garappo's Feed Store @
: 856-697-4444 for information on donating
: money, hay, etc. Also call them to
: volunteer. An SPCA volunteer's pass must be
: picked up at the Feed Store prior to
: entering the farm to help. Feel free to
: email me if you have any questions. And
: thank you, from me and those beautiful boney
: horses.

Hello,
My name is Alexis and my friend and I were wondering if we could become volunteers to help you with the horses. We think that horses are beautiful animals and should not be treated in any harmful way. I would really appreciate it if you could send me back an email with where to go and what to do. We really want to do this and we have been looking but we could never find anything to do around our area. Thank you so very much!
