Hi Michelle. I too have a desperate goat who lost his buddy this past week and is very sad. We have had mookey and kermie for 6 years. Mookey died from a sudden illness that the vet could not determine the cause of. We believe it was a digestive problem but since they have always been on the same feed and in the same pen the vet couldn"t determine the cause. Both of our goats are Lamanchas' kermie is friendly and loves people. He is large and playful. He is heartbroken and we fear that he'll die of a broken heart. I read your posting and thought that this might be the answer for both our problems. I recently had a knee replacement and can't spend as much tme with him as I would like and he needs.
