We have all had bad experiences at one time or another with some type of animal rescue. Certain actions may seem worthless to some and not to others, but we deal with what is dealt to us in our own way. Many times the problems come from the animals that are "worth" the save and then to some "caring" person becomes a big $ sign.. Why should they be adopted out, when they are "worth" a price. Who is right and who is wrong??? I hope that you may continue your work in rescue and not sour others intentions because of your personal feelings. I wonder....would you do the same or feel the same if it were a human life??? not an animal.. Sometimes, you have to throw in the towel, and some people do go over-board, but who are we to judge from outside the situation??? I hope you find peace with this and continue your great work...good luck
: Apparently this lady (and I use that term
: lightly) puts a price tag on the value of
: life. Every rescue opporate differently,
: and yours certainly has the right to rescue
: animals that it feels are in need of
: rescuing. As far as the saddle raffle is
: concerned. I don't care what the quality of
: the saddle is, the thought is to donate to a
: good cause not win a $2,000 saddle for $10.
: If you don't like the saddle and don't want
: to bid on it, then keep your $10. This
: women sound extremely bitter and needs to
: chill out. Everyone who helps rescue
: animals does it in there own way. God bless
: them all for helping in whatever way they
: can.
