I had gone to New Holland pa sales with a friend looking for a horse to rescue- and was horrified to see how many draft and draft crosses were there - speaking to some of the sellers i found they had adopted some of the foals and could not handle them - or find a trainer that would take them on for a reasonable fee. I worked with the pmu's mustangs-abused and off track horses and have ref's - i will discount for any training of a rescued horse if the owner is going to keep the animal or at least get it a good home. I do round penning and have rescued 14 of my own horses from slaughter and abuse. I am in NJ -Warren county-close to Hunterdon-Morris- Somerset- Please do not send these horses thru auction when there are people willing to help.
