In responce to your message, I am surprised such a young horse cannot get corrective shoeing for the navicular and can be enjoyed by light-weight riders. I adopted a 16yr old TB with navicular and with corrective shoeing enjoys the young kids riding him and spoiling him. Have you tried corrective shoeing?
