I am looking for a horse for an 11 year old boy who has recently taken an interest in riding. He has a a problem with his feet that have been operated on and is not able to participate well in athletics, but seems to seat well and feel comfortable on a horse. Riding really makes him happy and I would like to find a horse he can call his own. We have over 20 acre turnout with a 3 sided lean-to and year round water supply available. Presently, we have 2 horses in this field, but can easily accomodate another. I couldn't take anything that had bad or dangerous habits as the horse would be for a child. The riding would be leisurely trail and light. If anyone has a horse that they feel would be suitable for this boy or if you have a semi-retired horse that you would like to see go to a good home, I would be interested in speaking with you.
