Dear Hermano,
I am deeply moved by your reply.
You have faith is Carlos and his message.
When I was a boy, I heard his sound and it shaped my life.
Also, his profound wisdom is a beautiful thing and I believe it sometimes shines through his playing.
I follow his example in as many ways as possible, whilst still strongly adhering to my Judaism. As a human being, he has helped me to evolve, and I too play directly from my heart, as Carlos advises.
I was very blunt in my posting here but would never wish to upset anyone by being honest regarding my feelings.
I'm glad you've seen through it all to understand I love Carlos and his work as much as anyone who claims to know him.
I've fought for his music to be played and respected here in the UK when it and he were very unpopular, and I've never abandoned Latin Rock just because of fads and fashion.
It's made me an outcast but I've many friends all over the world who know where I'm coming from and appreciate my greatest influence.
So, you see, when people listen to me, they also check back in to Carlos again.
