This is very insightful, my friend.
Of course, Borborletta is stunning in every respect and everything you mention is how I feel as well.
However, the beauty of Santana is that although the band and the man has constantly evolved, pinnacles which have never been equaled definitely were realised in those epic making years, both live and in the studio.
