Hi everyone -
You might remember me asking a question to all you percussionists awhile back regarding how timbales are tuned. Well, the reason was that I was considering buying 2 pair -- and so I did. Here they are:
Here's the problem...
The ones on the left I got off of eBay from someone who said that they were 15" and 16" drums (the ones on the right are 14" and 15"). When I got them, they turned out ALSO to be 14" and 15" and when I told the seller that they were incorrectly described, she said she would gladly take them back, pay for all shipping, and refund my money.
I just don't want to go through the hassle of packaging them up again (and I did get a pretty good deal even for 14"/15") so I was wondering if I can get away with tuning one of the pair way down?
