it sounds like you were wanting to get the thunder timbs which are 15 & 16. you can tell the difference in picture by, well what i call the ribs on the side. timbale has 2 and thunder timbs have 3 and are deeper. those are a nice set you have there and you can tune which ever lower than your other. most timables players i've seen use one set as the main which are tuned high and then however you set the other up, most go to the left, or however you feel comfortable, and tune them lower. now if you are wanting to tune them like thunders you can most likely do it. now i don't know if they still make the calf skin heads which remo use to make, but you can check which will give you a good deep tone. i used one for my 15 a while back. it sounded good. i use one set of timbales, karl perazo series and i like them. i use ambassador coated heads on mine with vic firth hickory 5b sticks. hope this helps.
