Santana's connection to the Jackson family goes way back.
Check out this melody it starts at 7:25. I always found it odd that Santana at its most non commercial period in the band's career would cover a Jackson Five tune, if only briefly.

Santana reunion tour covering Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal." I first became aware of this tune when a live in Florida bootleg came out.
No "official" video of this Michael Jackson / Carlos Santana collaboration. There are several homemade video versions of this tune.
Carlos Santana plays acoustic guitar throughout this tune.
