I was in NYC with some friends enjoying the outdoors on a perfect summer nite, when I boasted that you can argue that there are cities as good as NYC, but you can't say there is a better one.
As much as I love the Lotus era, i.e., Caravanserai to Borobletta, when I hear Moonflower Carlos/Santana I'm experiencing something in a different but on the same level of awesomeness. Carlos' tone, the connection with TC, the power of the rhythm section, some of the Best Vocals of Santana history, Europa, Maria Caracoles, I could go on...
Put a gun to my head, I say Lotus, but as I check out Soundstage 1977, it doesn't get much better...
