I was 14 years old and my sister won free tickets to the screening of the Woodstock Movie and she took me there. At 14 years old it was a very mind blowing, life changing experience. When I saw Santana play Soul Sacrifice it opened my view of Rock N Roll music. It was no longer Elvis or the Beatles but my people, brown people, black people, white people, all kinds, all colors together unified by this powerful musical expression that I had never heard before. To an inmpressionable hispanic 14 year old it was a life changing experience. Que viva la musica y que viva la musica de Santana. Happy Birthday Carlos.
