Sounded like an awesome show, to say the least! I had thought about going but came up with the usual line of excuses not to (right now I'd kick my own ass if I weren't so stiff and out of shape). However, I did get to see Carlos and Los Lobos jam together in '89 while headlining a benefit concert in Watsonville following the Loma Prieta Earthquake. In that event Carlos played with his own band and then later had David and Cesar join him on stage, guitars ablazing. A summit of Chicano rock luminaries, what a rare treat.
I'm going for sure next time.
