I saw the original line up at least three times in the early 70's in London.
They were great, with Spartacus R who I still think is in Brixton (London) and Bailey and Loughty. There is a book out on Osibisa (on Amazon) which I have not read but would like too!!
I heard Loughty got killed in New York, in some argument or something??
Bailey's son (or cousin) Richard Bailey was a phenom young drummer around then in a great band callef Batti Mamselle, who I also saw in London about 1975. They had an album out out on Cube Records. (I See The Light)
The next year I saw GO with Winwood and Shrieve and Shrieve in Automatic Man in London at The Marquee Club.
