I always enjoy your scholarship, Xaman. The peyote-vision art of the Huicholes is amazing, and there seems to be little doubt that that particular yarn painting was used as the basis for the Shango cover. Interesting point about Carlos' possible Huichol roots. It had never occurred to me that the Huichol people are concentrated in an area just North of Autlan... More food for thought.
