After listening the new CD two times, I give a ranking of 8,5 of 10.
Why so many? For me, it is the best Santana album for the last 10 years because I like more the instrumental songs than these with vocals. Except the song "Eres De La Luz", I am very satisfied with the album. My favorite songs were "In the light of a new day", "Canela" and "Mucamba in Budapest".
Also for me a negative point is the very weak booklet: no information about the musicians or the tracks themselves. I would like these information because you will have the possibility to get a story of each song.
Let`s hope that they will play some of these songs from Shape Shifter during the concerts and not only the boring stuff like Foo Foo or Maria Maria or BMW.
