The show last night was blistering hot! Can't get into the details now because I actually have work to do today, but did want to be the first to let you guys know...
Carlos jammed with the Allman Brothers!
It was about 5 songs into the Brothers set, after Ramblin' Man. They started out slow and to these ears the song sounded like "In A Silent Way". They then started to build it up and went right into "Mountain Jam"! I video taped about 4:30 minutes of the beginning of the jam.
All three guitarists got plenty of solo time and they went into a killer blues theme. Karl was also behind the skins for the whole song but didn't get any spotlight time due to the triple guitar assault dominating the stage.
Will try to post more thoughts later.
