That's one reason to sue the guy.
I don't recall in any Santana biography's that John Dote's dad gave Santana their first break at some bar near the Cow Palace.
I also don't recall hearing the story that without John Dote's approval, that Smooth wouldn' have been a hit. Wow......just sayin
