I gotta disagree. I've listened to Power Of Peace two more times while doing yard work. I'll agree that the choice of material was kind of odd - Body Talk? The basketball rap? But there's not a bad song on the cd. There were some songs on Guitar Heaven and Santana IV that I listened to once and knew I would never listen to do again. I don't feel that way with this cd. The songs are all generally pretty good. That's not to say that I think this cd is memorable or will have lasting power. Unfortunately, I think that Carlos' 5 star album days are long gone. 70 year old people don't innovate and Carlos is nowhere as interesting as a guitarist as he was in the 1970s. But P of P is a decent, listenable 3 out of 5 stars record that's far better than his last two albums.
