The Mona Lisa EP will consist of:
1. "Do You Remember Me?" - an "elegant tone poem" produced by Rick Rubin that Carlos poured some of his live improvisations on "Smooth" into
2. "Searching for Mona Lisa" - produced by Narada (you've all heard live versions by now)
3. "Besame Mucho" - also produced by Narada, this is the track that Ron Carter played on
There's a little more info on the songs in the article, as well as Carlos' intention to have the Africa Speaks album out "between spring and summer" which I guess must mean it will be out at exactly 8:54 AM on June 21st, because at any other time you're either in spring or summer, not BETWEEN them.
(It's possible I'm being too literal).
Basically, Carlos says he's looking forward and more focused on creating new music than curating a retrospective right now, in spite of 2019 being both the 50th anniversary of the first album and the 20th anniversary of Supernatural (though he does say he might play that album in its entirety at some live date next year).
He IS still hoping to play the Woodstock anniversary show though and has booked a show of his own on the original festival site.
