A refreshing, much needed revisitation to a great song

I was just now sitting back relaxing after a day's work browsing pages on a social media website when I scrolled upon a page with the Santana logo and a link to a song. I guess I was just in the right frame of mind to have my memory jogged and my senses enlightened, just really mellowed out. I put on the phones, hit the link, and just lost it as I took in the splendor of this tune. After it was done it got me to thinking "Good Lord, what has happened to Carlos and his music over the last twenty years?" With a very few exceptions, I haven't found much of it I really like a lot. I think the days of great Santana music are over. I keep wanting more, but he's (for the most part) not delivering. But then I see the other side of the coin. Let's face it, Carlos lovers and Carlos bashers, Carlos has more that paid his dues. He gave us the best music our minds could handle for thirty straight, non stop years. He is probably the most traveled and toured entertainer of this or any generation. Album after album, show after show, year after year, and all of that means Carlos has earned the right to slow down a little. Should he retire? Absolutely not, I hope he keeps on making music and hopefully some day some of the magic might return. I'll be waiting for that to happen, until then I urge all my fellow Santana lovers to revisit a song I just kind of stuck away and might not have heard for a while: Bailando/Aquatic Park.
