Dear Carlos,
you have brought so many fantastic moments into my life through your music.
Surely no one would complain if you stopped being an active musician within a few years, bacause you have certainly given the universe a legacy that will live on for eternity.
Before you say enough is enough, though, I hope to see you maybe recording a jazzy album with your wife, I also hope that maybe you could do a reunion with Michael Shrieve and do a follow up sort of album to Caravanserai so many years later ( and wouldn´t mind if you persuaded Esperanza Spalding onto that album, too). I think that would be awesome.
Lastly I hope we finally get to see you in Europe live when eventually you probably announce a final world tour. And please, mr. santana, wouldn´t it be an idea to play at least one song from every album you have recorded throughout your career? I think you have made so many gems of songs that you rarely if ever play live.
Thank you again for everything, Carlos and band.
