I posted earlier, but the message never came up, so this is a repeat, I apologize.
Thank you, Tom. And I do mean that sincerely. I have received a number of opinions on this matter, but of all of the explanations I have heard, this one is, by far the best justification that I have heard.
If it was the intent of the club to focus on movies and anime from multiple regions in Asia, I am fine with that. It is not nearly as hurtful as the thought that the club was out to promote the objectification of an ethnic group.
Thanks so much for replying, and your consideration. (It is far more than another local club has offered, so kudos!)
