If smoking isn't a pleasure, why bother?

Hi,
I've never had a cigar and scared to have one quite frankly. I heard having one cigar is almost as bad as an entire pack of cigarettes.
While I do love smoking, I don't want to get any further addicted.
Are they really that good?

: Without being too
: theoretical here,
: Hamlets are really not
: in the same field as
: Cuban cigars or even
: other hand rolled
: cigars. Hamlets are
: machine rolled and are
: manufactured by a
: completely different
: process and do not use
: the best tobacco
: possible. This is of
: course also reflected in
: the price. If you really
: want to experience good
: cigars, perhaps you can
: look at the list I've
: suggested to Lynne over
: a period. If possible,
: have a nice meal, a good
: bottle of red wine and
: then maybe a liquer and
: coffee with your cigar.
: Savour the whole
: experience. I can
: guarantee it will be
: different to that you
: experienced with a
: Hamlet cigar.

: Hamlets. I think what
: Lynne said was spot on,
: I maybe treated it too
: much like a cigarette.

: Thanks for your news
: Kara.
: Shame that the
: experience was not too
: great for you. What
: cigar was it?

: Hi David, well I tried a
: cigar last week, and wow
: it was different. I
: ended up feeling pretty
: sick afterwards, I dunno
: what I did wrong. Still
: got lots of them left,
: been quite scared to try
: them hehe.

: Hi Lynne. Forgot to ask
: -
: did you eventually get
: round to celebrating
: with a Siglo VI cigar?
