There was never a single time when a boy or male teacher entered the room, and I'd smoke the whole cigs (without getting caught) successfully. After I was done smoking, I'd run outta the bathroom and rush down the stairs. Of course, I'd look both ways down the hallway to make sure no teachers or students were out there before running away. I actually got thrills from smoking in public bathrooms in those days since they were supposed to be smoke-free bathrooms. After college classes (certain classes) late in the afternoon, I didn't want to smoke in the freezy weather, so I just helped myself to a cig in a closet-like men's bathroom in the campus building. I locked the door of course. Nobody ever caught me smoking in the campus bathrooms as well. Actually, I'd help myself to a cig in a campus bathroom anytime after class, even if it's spring-like outside.

In the men/boys bathrooms from my college days and the days when I used to be a school tutor while in college. Yes, i used to smoke in the boys' bathrooms at the end of the school day on the second floor. Not a soul was in sight at 3 pm, not even a teacher. Since there was like only 1 or 2 male teachers on the second floor, I just used the end of the school day (and the end of the workday for me) as an opportunity to sneak a smoke by a toilet in the boys' room.
