I wanted to let everyone know that my dad had to have quadruple bypass surgery. For anyone that didn't know, dad found out Monday (9/26) that he had 3 to 4 blocked arteries and the doctors wouldn't let him leave the hospital. The doctors said my dad was very very lucky. They did the surgery Thursday (9/29) and he came through it with flying colors. The doctor also said that he didn't have any damage to his heart. THANK GOD!! Dad is doing very well, and he looks so much better already. He is a true fighter, and he is determined to beat this. So everyone watch out, the doctor said he will feel like he is twenty years old again and I'm sure that he will be raring to go next fishing season. He is in Buffalo General Hospital and we are hoping that he will be coming home on Tuesday (10/4). When he comes home mom and dad will be staying with Don and I at our home in Cuba. If anyone wants to call them, please feel free my number is (585)968-2029. My family and I want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for my dad. Our prayers were definitely answered, and we know that God is watching over him and will continue to watch over him through out his recovery.
