Vegeta had been flying for about one day when his scouter beeped at him and indicated that dragon ball number two was near. He looked about and found nothing but ocean. So, he had no choice but to dive into the water and look. He spiraled down and took a deep breath just a he plunged beneath the water. It was pitch black so he formed and energy ball and held it in his hand for light. The water went down about two miles and then leveled out into a bumpy sea floor. Vegeta swam down and began to scan the sea floor. His eyes moved over rocks and strange sea plants. He came across the occasional crab or fish. Then he found a crevice that went down farther into the depths. He swam down and found a series of caves at the bottom. He searched cave by cave until he found the ball. Grabbing it he started for the surface, but just then a large crab scuttle by and caused an avalanche of rocks to fall into the crevice. Vegeta was trapped beneath the rocks. Several minutes later a burst erupted from the crevice and formed a large crater. Vegeta swam up out of the crater and flew into the air. He pocketed the ball and shook himself off. His scouter indicated dragon ball three about one day to the south. He started towards it.
