Vegeta landed in the middle of a forst of pine trees and took off at a run. The dragon ball was near, but the scouter showed it was on the move somewhere in the forest. He blasted trees out of the way and ran on. Dodging fallen logs and hanging vines he broke through the trees and saw an eagle high above. He gazed upward at it until he realized the eagle was holding the dragon ball in it's talons. He leapt into the air and took off after it. The eagle saw him coming and flew off with a squak. Vegeta speed up and was closing fast when the eagle flew into a small hole on a cliff side. Going to fast to stop Vegeta was forced to blast the mountain. That killed the eagle though, and he was able to retrive the dragon ball. Then he turned for home, intent on having some lunch.
