Vegeta got out of bed that morning and decided he'd start the day with a jog. He hit the button on his scouter and located the next dragon ball, then took off on foot in that direction. His job took him through the forest and across the prairie, and then down through a canyon. He dodged boulders and lizards as he weaved his way through the canyon. He came out the other end into a dense marsh. The mud pulled at his boots and he had to choose his footing carefully. His scouter beeped and showed that he was nearing the dragon ball. The fog was thickening and Vegeta had to work to see ahead of him. Suddenly the ground underfoot lurched. He stopped and looked about. The ground lurched again, and a giant snake errupted from the ground. It coiled about and hissed at him, striking angrily. Then he saw it, the dragon ball lay in a nest with the snake's eggs. Vegeta dodged several strikes and then hit the snake in the head. It hissed and shook itself, then lunged at him again. He dodged the strike and hit it in the neck. It fell to the ground, unconscious. He ran over and grabbed the dragon ball, then took to the air and flew home.
